Losing a Brother...

Jay was so alive and energetic during his life.   He never got sick, never drank, smoked or did drugs.   But at 44 years of age Jay died of bladder cancer.  Mark Winkler - Still Moments 14

Jay was sort of a rebel. He was a barefoot enthusiast who hated wearing shoes.   At the end of every email, he sent was his motto which you see above.   On his headstone (below) we incorporated a snippet of that into the design (note the bare feet on the upper left corner and the last line on the stone).  In 1999 Jay was interviewed on CBC Radio about being a barefoot enthusiast.  Above this paragraph click on the play button to listen to that interview. Jay was a very funny man!
